Founding Organizer and Active Steering Comittee Member for an annual professional conference. Businesses are discovering that by adopting sustainable business practices, they can improve their bottom line and enhance their brand image. This one day conference will offer information, tools and ideas for leaders in business, government and nonprofits as well as entrepreneurs, consultants, educators and students.
Sonoma State University and New College's Green MBA program organize the first Sustainable Enterprise Conference for Northern California. Worked with professors, independent consultants and community leaders to conceive, plan and promote. With 240 attendees, the conference filled all available seats.
Medicinal and Aromatic Plant Conference
Fez, Morocco September 2005
Oren Wool traveled to Fez, Morocco where he presented at MAP 2005 on the growing North American market for certified organic and sustainable harvested aromatic and medicinal plants. MAP 2005 was a USAID funded conference facilitated by AED to bring together key Moroccan stakeholders and international experts to address the opportunities and constraints facing the development of the medicinal plants sector, improve product(s) promotion and identify potential partners and investors, develop partnerships and collaboration between the public sector, private sector, and universities in Morocco and the region.
